The Colonnade Diner debuted as one of the inaugural mega diners in the area, quickly earning the affectionate moniker “The Disco Diner.” This nickname was a nod to the vibrant nightlife that pulsated along Hylan Boulevard, dotted with clubs and discos that defined the era.
